In my art I strive for minimalism therefore no wonder I’m attracted to the GIF format.
GIFs are short loops made of only several frames but can make the viewer feel she is watching something which is alive and keeps on going forever.
In my minimalism graphic signature style I enjoy depicting iconic subjects with minimum amount of visual information.
Images of famous buildings, cartoon characters, animals and even Michael Jacksons are etched in our brains, allowing us to instantly recognise them even without seeing them fully.
Michael Jackson’s appearance and dance moves are so iconic and can be recognised even if depicted using a few monochrome dots.
Simplicity is powerful!
